Emergency Pipeline Repair System (EPRS)

PLUG’s Emergency Pipeline Repair System (EPRS) is a rapid-response solution designed to restore pipeline integrity with unmatched speed, safety, and cost-efficiency. Our turnkey approach minimizes downtime, reduces long-term maintenance costs, and ensures your pipeline is back online—fast.

🔧 Phase 1: Engineering, Assembly & Tool Testing

  • Collect pipeline data: P&ID diagrams, alignment sheets, ILI data, technical datasheets, etc.
  • Conduct site visit to verify field conditions and gather documentation.
  • Perform stress validation, piggability analysis, and finalize drawings for client approval.
  • Develop joint emergency response plan: emergency contacts, meetings, tool service/storage, technician readiness, communications equipment.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) is recommended but optional.

🗄️ Phase 2: Tool Storage

  • Tools stored at PLUG or customer’s location of choice for rapid deployment.

🚨 Phase 3: Emergency Mobilization

  • Technicians mobilize to site immediately upon activation.
